Real scheduled long-distance and regional services from gtfs.de / DELFI. White markers have no delay report. Green and orange markers have reported delays; cancelled services are omitted from moving trains.
Positions are estimated between stops, not GPS locations. The free timetable does not include individual train numbers. Map lines show OSM infrastructure, including other operators.
Past times use saved observations when available; otherwise they replay the timetable without historical delays. Live delay reports expire after three minutes if the collector stops updating.
The map renders only when you interact or train data changes. Timetables are processed in a separate worker. There are no terrain meshes or map tile downloads.
Website: static hosting. Delays: a small collector fetches the public GTFS-RT feed and publishes compact JSON; no DB key required. Timetables need periodic refresh.
